Bookings

The client is required to book Phils services a minimum of 2 months in advance of your special occasion.

A deposit of 120.00 GBP to confirm the booking is required.

This is to be paid within 5 calendar days of the booking being made.

The deposit will be deducted from your final invoice and you will receive a receipt via e-mail.

Phil will send you an e-mail as a confirmation of the booking.

Please reply to confirm that Phil has been booked and you agree to his terms and conditions.

Please keep all correspondence for future reference.

Phil will charge you for his time (see Prices page) at your special occasion, plus any post production, editing and retouching work that he has to do, plus any expenses incurred (travel fees, postage etc).

Phil does not put his prices up for weddings; the hourly rate on his Prices page is the hourly rate you pay.

Unlike a lot of photographers who provide a Bronze / Silver / Gold / Platinum package, Phil will provide you with the absolute highest level of professional service and commitment to the work that he can give.

Phil will meet you at least once before the occasion* and do an informal photo shoot, so that you can get to know each other.

If for any reason Phil is unable to attend the actual occasion (due to illness / injury) he will advise you as soon as possible and your deposit will be refunded in full.

The occasion

Phil will treat everyone with courtesy and respect and he expects the same in return.

For safety and technical reasons, Phil would strongly appreciate it that while he is working on creating your photographs, that your family and friends do not obstruct him in his duties.

Phil will work tirelessly to get all of the shots required, some shots take a little longer to set up, so please be patient and allow sufficient time for them to be achieved.

Phil has a list of classic wedding photos, that you can look at; it may give you ideas for photos that you had not thought of, so please send him a request for it via e-mail.

Phil will work entirely within the rules of the venue, as this will prevent any problems with the venue.

It is your responsibility to advise him of any specific rules to be observed.

After the occasion

Phil retains the worldwide copyright on all images that he takes, this is standard business practice for any professional photographer and he will not release the master files.

So to save any embarrassment on either side, please do not ask.

To ensure the future safety of your images, Phil will store them in two separate locations.

Phil will add a set of numbered small images to a Secure Client Gallery page for you to make your choices from.

Phil will provide you with a user name and password to access the page.

Please pass this information to friends and relatives who are on the internet, so they can order prints from him directly.

If you request it, Phil will provide you with a set of rough proof sheets, for your friends and family who are not on the internet to make their print choices.

There is a minimum order of twenty (20) of up to ten by eight (10 by 8) inch prints**;

Display albums / mounts for your photographs are very much a matter of personal taste, Phil will only provide you with the prints; it is up to you how you display them.

If requested by the client, for a small extra fee***, Phil will also provide a CD of the images in an internet ready format only.

(JPG and less than 1MB per image in size)

The CD must be ordered at the same time as the prints.

The CD will only be sent with your finished prints and not before.

The images contained on the CD will be at too low a quality for prints, but will be suitable to e-mail to your family and friends in other countries.

Phil will provide your finished prints within 35 business days of the occasion and is usually dependent on his workload at the time.

The prints will be sent by recorded delivery or you are welcome to collect them from Phil, with prior arrangement.

To ensure the highest quality, any prints that you require must be ordered directly from Phil.

Payment

Payment is to be made by the client in two parts;

Payment One is for the assignment/shoot itself and for any post production work required.

Payment Two is for the finished prints.

Payment required within 7 calendar days of the client receiving the invoice****

Your prints / CD will only be sent on satisfactory clearance of funds into Phils account.

Note; a snap taken with a point and shoot digital camera is not in the same league as a professional photograph....

* Time scale / workload / practicality for both parties permitting.

**This can be a mixture of 4 by 5 inch or 8 by 10 inch or 11 by 16 inch; it is entirely up to you.

***Fee is 10.00 GBP per CD
